What is a “Crutch”?
A device, typically made of wood pulp or glass (but easily MacGyvered from just about any paper or card stock material), that is incorporated in the joint rolling process to create a mouthpiece. Also known as a filter or tip, you can learn more about their benefits in our crutches guide.
Crutch (noun):
- Pronounced: /krəCH/
- A thick paper or glass tip used in the mouth piece of a joint to support the paper and facilitate easy smoking of the joint.
- Any type of filter added to a joint or blunt.
- A long stick with a crosspiece at the top, used as a support under the armpit by a lame person.
