The 99% Pure CBD Isolate has very little smell upon opening the jar. So little smell in fact, that we weren’t even able to describe it—it truly smells like nothing. That’s okay, because the effects don’t come from the smell!

Taste (Irrelevant to effects):

Just to clarify, you’re not supposed to eat it (safety-wise you could, but the product is intended for smoking or vaporizing). We really enjoy dabbing or vaporizing the 99% Pure CBD Isolate as the flavor seems to come through most clearly. The vapor/smoke taste is mild and earthy with the slightest undertones of cherries and wine. To be clear, the 99% Pure CBD Isolate does not contain the same level of terpenes as a full spectrum extract, but the flavor produced by the smoke or vapor still makes consuming it a pleasant experience. 

Consistency:

The product is like powdery, crystallized sand. We wouldn’t recommend picking it up with your fingers. Instead, we suggest using a small dab tool with a spoon style tip to work with the isolate. This will help you load it into your vaporizer, bowl, or dab rig with ease. It’s important to use caution when handling the powder because if it flies off your dab tool, you’ll have a hard time recollecting it! The pulverized crystalline powder can also be slightly sticky.

Effects (Onset, Duration, Intensity):

The effects of smoking or vaporizing the 99% Pure CBD Isolate can be felt immediately—your body begins to relax and soften very quickly—we describe this sensation as a “wave of relief”. The 99% Pure CBD Isolate is tested by Colorado State certified labs to ensure the THC content is under 0.3%, meaning the product does not induce any psychoactive effects. The duration of the isolate was impressive with the relief lasting several hours (although shorter duration than the Tinctures or Soft Gels). Of all the products in the Ambary Gardens lineup, the 99% Pure CBD Isolate has the shortest onset time and the most intensely felt relief—meaning you can actually feel ‘something’ after consuming. To be clear, all of Ambary Garden’s products provide real relief, but with certain products, the effects can be subtler.

In our experience, the 99% Pure CBD Isolate is ideal for immediate relief of intense discomfort. The isolate is ideal for managing acute flare-ups related to anxiety, depression, inflammation, migraines, PTSD, sleep, and pain. We love using the isolate to relieve sore muscles after a day in the mountains or at the gym. We also find it has a ton of value after a long day at work when your mind, body and spirit needs to truly relax and recharge.

This is a systemic product that provides immediate, intense relief that doesn’t last quite as long as other system products. That said, depending on your ailment, we recommend combining this product with a topical salve like the Deep Rub or Muscle Recovery if you need localized relief. Alternatively, if you need extended, long-lasting relief, we suggest pairing with the Daily Full Spectrum Tinctures or Soft Gels. You can also combine the 99% Pure CBD Isolate with traditional high-THC extracts if you’re looking to combine cannabinoids for even greater relief. Simply scoop up a dab of THC concentrate and then dip it into the 99% Pure CBD Isolate prior to dabbing or vaporizing.

This product has a total of 1 gram of 99% CBD Isolate in each container, which equates to a total of 990mg of CBD. In our experience, the jar lasted a very long time. Obviously, the larger the dabs you take, the more product you’ll use and the fewer total hits you may get; but even a small amount of this isolate is incredibly potent and fast acting.
